While smartphones were already in circulation, the iPhone was different to what was already out there. The incredible features that it provided were unlike anything else on the market, and users flogged to the device in their millions. Apple has introduced new versions of the iPhone every year, and it continues to be the one of the most popular devices on the market in today’s world.
Apple made yet another massive move with the introduction of the iPad in 2010. Again, tablets weren’t anything new, but Apple’s design of them pushed them into the mainstream. Suddenly, the market exploded, and Apple were at the forefront of it. The iPad offered similar functionality to that of a laptop, with much greater portability options. Since then, the iPad has continued to grow with better features and functionality. The market is much more crowded now, but it continues to be an incredibly popular option for tablet enthusiasts.
In recent times, apple stock predictions have changed due to the introduction of the Apple Watch. Pundits and experts aren’t so sure that these interactive watches are going to take off. However, plenty of other companies are also investing in them. Whether they’ll gain success is unknown, but Apple will be hopeful they can capture yet another market with their invention.
